Now, IPL’s around, so I gotta take it on.
Either bashing it up for ruining Shane Bond’s, Craig McMillan’s (etc etc) careers or for the cricket played.
This time, I am not going to be so harsh on it.
Deccan Chargers won. Hyderabad is excited. Hyderabadis are charged themselves (weird, in spite of all those power cuts!!), and of course, the official newspaper, Deccan Chronicle, just can’t stop filling pages with anything and everything related to our pyara DC.
Ok, lets see. Bangalore Royal Challengers (BRC- wait, shouldn’t it Bengaluru Royal Challengers?? where’s the frigging PIL against IPL!! Come on no-work-offended-time-passing-money-wasting-wannabe-headliners do your thing!!!), 1st match against defending champions, Rajasthan Royals, won. Sorry, trounced the latter.
Next, BRC was trounced by Chennai Super Kings (CSK), who in turn were defeated by Mumbai Indians, who by all means, would lose to RR, who in turn would register their first win, after being defeated by BRC, who lost to CSK, who lost to MI, who will lose to RR … wait.. didn’t I just say that. See, the vicious cycle?
So, DC, who beat Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), will lose to BRC, who lost to CSK, who lost to MI.
So basically, the ultimate match to watch is the 6th match of IPL between KXP and KKR (the battle of losers).
Hmmm, interesting. I like Ms.Zinta, but I also like McCullum, who unfortunately, is the Chief Rider in the stormy (K)night.
I know, I know, the analysis is incomplete and not to mention ludicrous. But, if RR win against MI and BRC over DC, you know where to come for your predictions.
So long, enjoy your IPL.
